Return Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below. This policy applies to all purchases made through Event Ready Supply.

1. Return Eligibility Window

  • You may request a return for eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date. Requests made after 30 days will not be accepted.

2. Condition of Returned Items

  • To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in "like new" condition. This means the item must be:
    • Unused, unassembled, and uninstalled.
    • Free from any signs of wear, dirt, damage, or use (including fuel/fluids in generators, etc.).
    • In its complete, original packaging, including all boxes, crating, manuals, accessories, and parts.
  • Items returned in a condition other than "like new" (e.g., showing signs of use, damage, missing parts, or without original packaging) may be refused, or subject to significant restocking fees beyond the standard rate (see Section 7).

3. How to Initiate a Return

  • Provide your original order number and the reason for the return.
  • Our team will review your request. If approved, we will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide instructions on where to send the return.
  • DO NOT return items without obtaining an RMA number first. Returns received without a valid RMA number may be refused or experience significant processing delays.

4. Return Shipping

  • Customer Responsibility: You (the customer) are responsible for arranging and paying for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges paid on your order are non-refundable.
  • Trackable & Insured: We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method for your return. We are not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit back to us.
  • Freight Returns: For items originally shipped via LTL Freight (e.g., portable restrooms, large tents, generators), you are responsible for arranging and paying for return freight shipping. This includes securely packaging the item for freight transit (often requiring palletizing or crating similar to how it was received) and coordinating with a freight carrier. Return freight costs can be substantial. Please contact us for guidance before attempting to arrange return freight.

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • The following items may not be eligible for return:
    • Custom-ordered or customized items.
    • Clearance or "final sale" items.
    • Items that have been used, assembled, or installed.
    • Items returned without original packaging, manuals, or accessories.
    • Products that use consumables (like fuel or fluids) if those consumables have been added.
    • Pre-owned or used products

6. Refund Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected by our team (typically within 3-5 business days of arrival), we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued for the original purchase price of the item(s), less any applicable deductions (see below). Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

7. Deductions & Restocking Fees

  • Original Shipping: Original shipping costs paid by the customer are non-refundable.
  • Return Shipping: Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Standard Restocking Fee: Returns of eligible items in "like new" condition may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the item's purchase price. This covers inspection, handling, and repackaging costs.
  • Freight Item Restocking Fee: Due to the complexities of handling and inspecting large freight items, returns of items originally shipped via LTL Freight may be subject to a higher restocking fee, typically 25% or more, even if returned in "like new" condition.
  • Damaged/Used/Incomplete Returns: Items returned damaged, used, missing parts/packaging, or otherwise not in "like new" condition may be refused or subject to significantly higher restocking fees (up to 100%), assessed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items Received

  • If you receive an item that is damaged in transit or incorrect, please refer to our Shipping Policy regarding inspection upon delivery.
  • Damage MUST be noted on the delivery receipt BEFORE signing.
  • Contact us immediately (within 24 hours]) at (800) 542-1398 or info@eventreadysupply.com with your order number and details/photos of the issue.
  • Do not return damaged or incorrect items without contacting us first. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may involve providing a return shipping label, arranging a replacement, or filing a freight claim.

9. Exchanges

  • We do not offer exchanges at this time.

10. Order Cancellations

  • Cancellation Requests: If you need to cancel an order, please contact our Customer Service team immediately at (800) 542-1398 or info@eventreadysupply.com. Please provide your order number.
  • Before Shipment: If your cancellation request is received and confirmed before the order enters the shipping process (i.e., before it has been packed, assigned tracking, or dispatched from our warehouse or a manufacturer's warehouse), we will process a full refund back to your original payment method.
  • After Shipment: If the order has already shipped or entered the shipping process where it cannot be stopped, it cannot be cancelled. In this case, the order will be treated as a return and will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Return Policy, including customer responsibility for return shipping costs and potential restocking fees. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Timing: We process orders quickly, especially items shipping directly from manufacturers. We cannot guarantee the ability to cancel an order once it has been placed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation.
